Maiya Samman Yojana New Rule 2025 Change in rules from June1

The government wants that the benefit of this scheme should reach only the needy and eligible women, so the rules are being changed from time to time under the Maiya Samman Yojana New Rule 2025 by the government.

Now another new rule has been implemented by the government, according to which now only those women will be given assistance amount in whose bank account DBT will be started.

Earlier, the government had made it mandatory to link bank accounts with Aadhaar only, but now a new rule will come into force from June 1, 2025, according to which the benefit of the scheme can be availed only if DBT is active.

Women who do not have DBT active in their accounts will have to get DBT linked as soon as possible otherwise those women will not be able to take advantage of it.

According to government data, about 54 lakh women are registered under this scheme who have been given the benefit of 8 installments till last month. But among these, there are about 2 lakh women whose account does not have DBT activated and if these women do not activate DBT further, then they will not be given the benefit of the coming installment.

These women will not get the benefit of the next installment

If you are a beneficiary woman of Maiya Samman Yojana and you have got the last 8 installments, then note that if you have not started DBT in the account and still were taking advantage of the scheme, then you will be declared ineligible for the scheme and the upcoming 9th and 10th installments will not be deposited in your account.

This time the government is going to deposit a total amount of ₹ 5000 in the accounts of women under the 9th and 10th installment, but its benefit will be available only to those women whose account has DBT

The government has made it mandatory to start DBT under the new rule of Maiya Samman Yojana, so women who do not have DBT active in their account will not be able to get the benefit of the scheme.
